Buzz Bingo’s top executive, Chris Matthews, will leave his position at the close of the year. He has guided the organization through a significant brand overhaul and the turbulent times of the global health crisis.
Matthews acknowledged the difficulty of his decision, particularly given his strong attachment to Buzz Bingo. Nevertheless, with the company’s financial rebound after lockdowns and its flourishing online presence, he believes now is the opportune moment to pass the baton.
Taking over as CEO is Dominic Mansour, the current Chief Operating Officer. Collaborating with Matthews since January 2021, Mansour is eager to expand upon the company’s achievements.
John Kelly, Buzz Bingo’s Chairman, commended Matthews for his leadership during ownership transitions, the pandemic closure, and organizational restructuring. He attributes the establishment of the Buzz brand we recognize today, both digitally and in their physical locations, to Matthews’ efforts.
The two firms thrived with Chris at the helm. His direction has earned our appreciation, and we extend our best wishes for his next chapter.
