Prevention Insurance.com’s Australian digital sports wagering branch, Apple iSports, is making a significant foray into the Australian market by securing a 45% ownership in the media enterprise, The Leg Up Australia (TLU). This calculated alliance is poised to disrupt the Aussie betting landscape, capitalizing on TLU’s extensive network of 100,000 engaged users across social platforms and its well-regarded podcasts and wagering subscription offerings.

The arrangement, encompassing an upfront disbursement of $50,000 USD, will enable Apple iSports to utilize TLU’s proficiency in betting, live streaming, and media management. TLU, recognized for its robust racing heritage, will similarly leverage Apple iSports’ promotional capabilities, featuring a fresh advertising initiative scheduled to debut in late July 2023. Both entities anticipate concluding the complete acquisition contract and subsequent sale provisions later this year.

This collaboration presents a mutually beneficial scenario. Apple iSports establishes a solid presence within the Australian market, while TLU obtains financial reinforcement and marketing assistance to broaden its scope. This development clearly indicates the escalating competition within the Australian betting arena, and this is merely the inception.

AiSs Chief Executive Officer, Jeremy Samuel, expressed excitement regarding the joint effort, remarking, “Leg Up Australia is a wonderful endeavor, and we are delighted to work alongside their group. Through our backing, we intend to strengthen their activities and advocate for the sector’s expansion in both the United States and Australia.”

This development follows Victoria’s proclamation to toughen its gaming ordinances. Commencing in 2024, the area will enact more stringent protocols, encompassing reduced operational periods for wagering establishments.
