The transaction, valued at $4 million (equivalent to €3.7 million), encompasses SvenskaFans.com, HockeySverige.se, Fotbolldirekt.se, and Innebandymagazinet.se. These platforms collectively engage an impressive 900,000 Swedish sports aficionados each month.
This calculated maneuver enables Better Collective to fortify its presence within Sweden and explore fresh promotional channels. Jesper Søgaard, Chief Executive Officer of Better Collective, emphasized that this acquisition seamlessly aligns with their ambition to become the preeminent digital sports media entity.
The head of Everysport, Hannes Andersson, conveyed his satisfaction with the websites’ rise to prominent sports information platforms in Sweden. He views the transaction as a logical step for both the brand and the Everysport Group, emphasizing their advancements in digital technology. Andersson extended his well wishes for the continued prosperity of the sites and their staff.
