The Turkish wagering operator Nesine and the EuroLeague have declared that their sponsorship accord will be prolonged until 2025.
This agreement’s extension arrives six years after Nesine became the EuroLeague’s official sports betting sponsor in 2015, marking the second time the deal has been renewed.
As part of the collaboration, Nesine has promoted the EuroLeague in Turkey. Recently, Nesine gained substantial brand visibility at the 2021 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague Final Four in Cologne, Germany.
EuroLeague President and CEO Jordi Bertomeu stated: “The partnership between EuroLeague and Nesine has been mutually beneficial, providing six years of increased exposure and fan engagement for both parties.”
“We are thankful for Nesine’s professionalism, expertise and shared vision, and this renewal strengthens our combined commitment for the future.”
Since Nesine became the EuroLeague’s sports betting partner, Anadolu Efes Istanbul and Fenerbahçe Istanbul have both secured the EuroLeague championship.
Furthermore, the EuroLeague stated that over the past two years, there has been a 21% rise in interest in the EuroLeague and EuroCup.
Our technological enterprise was founded on the concept of supporting athletics, as we have gained significantly from it,” remarked Nesine’s chief executive, Halit Gürbacağoğlu. “We are delighted and proud to maintain our collaboration with the EuroLeague, the premier basketball competition in Europe.”
